Annotate your book!

Hello, folks. How was your weekend? Have you read new books this weekend? Answer me in the comments below.

Annotate your book! Is it necessary

Yes, it is. For a better understanding of what you have read, you should annotate your book.

So, what is Annotation? Most of you probably know this. That’s why you clicked it, right?

And for those fellas who don’t know: It means we personalize the book.

Now, how do we personalize the book?

We have to write down what feels important to us. Fetch a dictionary, note down its meaning. You can also write down quotes or plot twists or anything you feel important.

Use color-coded Notes rather than scribbling on “Your precious".

Write whatever you feel important. I usually take down new words and quotes. Some of my friends take notes on key moments. My Amma has a book dedicated to Annotate. She writes down important events, new words, and their pronunciation. FYI, she reads Bhagavat Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and other mythologies in their original language.

In conclusion, Annotation is important so we should start doing it.

Keep Reading, Take notes, Repeat.

That’s all folks. Adios
